After six and half years as headteacher at St Mark’s School, Friday 23 July was Mr Barham’s last day. We wish him all the best in his new role and look forwards to welcoming Mrs H Roberts as our interim headteacher for the start of next term. Mr Barham would like to say a very big ‘Thank you’ to everyone for their very kind comments and best wishes. ‘I have really enjoyed being at St Mark’s and helping it grow and it will always have a very special place in my heart – Thank you’.

Year 5 led the way at Bedgebury Pinetum on the 23rd June. As well as discovering about photosynthesis and how plants grow, there was also a great playground!

Thank you to everyone who helped to redecorate the lobby and entrance area just before the start of Term 6. Thanks also to the children of the Junior school who helped to create the “stain glass” windows above the main doors, and the children in the infants art club who helped create the entrance signs for the infants and junior schools.
