Hockey
On Friday 1st February St Marks took part in the Hockey Tournament at Bennett Memorial School. The Hockey team worked hard and put in a good performance. Thank you to everyone who came along.
2008 INDOOR ATHLETICS FESTIVAL
On Wednesday the 30th of January Mrs Goodfellow picked out some volunteers from years 5 and 6 to go to the Indoor athletics Festival which took place in Bennett Memorial School. Some of the athletics were throwing javelins, speed bounce which was bouncing side by side, long jump and triple jump, chest ball which was pushing a ball with your chest and last, we did the sprint, in the sprint we had to run from one end of the hall to the other side. It was close but St Johns won by one point. Well done to all the players.Netball
On the 6th of February St.Mark’s took part in a Netball Tournament. Our first match was against Benchley Primary school, we gave it our all but lost by 5-4. Our second match was against St.Augutines. We tried really hard but sadly we did not win. St.Mark’s lost by 4-0. All the players did really well. We also appreciate the help from our coaches Sarah and Tracy.
