St Mark's School, Tunbridge Wells

Our Term 3 website is meant to be LOUD because we've got so much to SHOUT about!

We've had Greg Clark our local MP and the Mayor Cllr Mike Rusbridge open our new extension. Nicknamed a "Room for improvement" by some (and Jabba - the Hut by others!) it will hopefully provide a great community facility.

Of course there was the SNOW. Sadly the school had to be closed for two days due to the bad weather. Apologies for any distruption this may have caused.

Plus it was Dance Week during Term 3 and there were a number of dance related activities.

As ever all the children have been busy throughout the term on a whole range of topics. We've got some examples of what they've been up to here...

If you think we've missed anything please let us know. You can email us here webteam@st-marks.kent.sch.uk

Lets Dance

There were a number of events organised for Dance Week, for the juniors there was the TWDPSSA Dance Festival at Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School on Wednesday 11 February. The children who went, were taught a dance routine which they permorfed for the whole school at Friday assembly.

For the infants Perform4Schools provided "Merlin the Magician" Drama workshop, which took the children on a fantastical journey through some of the most fun and accessible Arthurian myths and legends.

Plus, you can see some photos of the Italia Conti dance workshops here
