Holidays in Term Time St Mark's School, along with other schools in Tunbridge Wells, will not permit leave of absence unless in the most exceptional of circumstances. It is very unusual for there to be good reason why holidays can not be taken during school holiday time. If you wish to take children out of school during term time then please write to Mr Barham to explain why it cannot be taken during the school holidays. If parents do take their children on holiday then their absence will be recorded as unauthorised, and will be discussed with the Educational Welfare Officer who monitors attendance in schools. We will also discuss the possibility of issuing a Fixed Penalty Notice for non-attendance in line with school and Local Authority policies.If you would like to discuss your individual circumstances please do not hesitate to contact Mr Barham at the school. | ||
